Madhur Pharma

Late Vaidyaraj C D Pant (1918-2005), an Ayurvedic physician while practicing circa 1946-1995, experienced the need for reliable quality Ayurvedic products. To fulfill that demand, his partner in medical practice, Dr. Deepak Joshi established “Madhur” in 1986 as a proprietary firm.

It evolved to partnership and later to a private limited company. With a vision to rejuvenate the ayurvedic and herbal traditions and products, he set about creating pharma and personal care formulations using well researched data from the classical and contemporary literatures and the experience of decades of medical practice. The development of the quality assurance and control procedures, research protocols, production facilities and procedures followed side by side.
